Display & Design

The Tecno Spark 8 has a plastic frame, a glass front, and a plastic back. Compared to its predecessor, the phone sports a fresh design. On the rear of the phone, a new camera module is seen. At the top, the square camera module occupies a sizable space. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor is included.
Similar branding for the Tecno Spark is present right next to the camera module, and it looks good. On the right side of the back panel, however, ‘Stop at Nothing’ is printed vertically, giving the phone a strange appearance.

The phone is 9.20mm thick and weighs 200 grams. It comes in the colors turquoise cyan, Atlantic blue, and iris purple. A 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with a 269 PPI density and a resolution of 720*1,600 pixels is located on the front. A camera sensor is housed in the waterdrop notch on top. The display can also handle a 60Hz refresh rate and reach a maximum brightness of 480 nits.

Camera

On the Tecno Spark 8, the camera doesn’t give much. On the rear of the phone are two cameras. Another unidentified camera sensor is there beside the primary 16MP camera. An 8MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash is located on the front. This can be quite useful for capturing selfies in dim lighting.

Large aperture, dark shooting, panoramic shooting, grin capture, 1080P time-lapse photography, 120FPS slow motion, and portrait camera are some of the camera capabilities of the phone. The front and rear cameras can both capture video at 1080p HD at 30 frames per second.

A microSD card can be used to increase the memory by up to 256GB. The phone has a specific slot for the external card.

Dual sims are supported by the Tecno Spark 8 with up to 4G network access. The phone also has FM radio, GPS, and Bluetooth pairing capabilities. Micro-USB 2.0 is used by the phone for wired connectivity and charging. The phone contains a speaker and a 3.5mm headphone connector for music.
