Introduction
Samsung has done an excellent job of continuing to improve that aspect with each newly released Galaxy M21. However, if you’re looking for a phone that can capture stunning photos and videos without any issues, then you should definitely consider the Gallaxy M21. This device features a top-of-the-line camera sensor and software, which means that it can take amazing photos and videos no matter what environment you’re in. Plus, thanks to its large memory capacity, you’ll be able to store plenty of images and videos for later use.

Display
The Galaxy M21 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The display is the same as on the M31, M30s, and a slew of other Samsung mid-range phones. It’s undoubtedly the most popular panel in Samsung’s series.
Performance & Memory
Unfortunately, the M21’s performance isn’t really impressive.
The fact that our review unit was the 4/64GB model made a difference when compared to the 6/128GB M31 we examined earlier this year. Especially when multitasking, the M21 felt noticeably slower. Everything happens after a brief pause, which is particularly visible in the Camera app, which has a significant shutter lag before saving the processed image.
Part of the burden falls on the Exynos 9611 processor, although we’ve seen it run better in other Samsung models, so it’s mostly due to the RAM setup. We strongly advise you to avoid the 4GB version and instead opt for the 6GB. However, the 6GB variant’s price is too close to that of the M31, so there’s a bit of a catch-22.
The memory size has less of an impact on gaming performance than it does on apps, and they operate just as well as they did on the M31, which is to say well enough for a cheap smartphone.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy M21 features a 48MP f2.0 main camera, an 8MP f2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.
The Camera app has a portrait or ‘Live Focus‘ mode, Pro mode, Panorama, and Night mode, among others. Based on the subject, a scene optimizer mode can modify image attributes like color and contrast. Still, photographs can be captured in either the normal 12MP mode or the full 48MP mode, which captures images in their native resolution but lacks some image processing functions like HDR.
